Lynn Veihl has a great post today featuring a quick character-building exercise that I’m gonna steal here for one of my current SF WIP characters. (The gist of the exercise-describe your character with each letter of the alphabet). Here goes for Kay:
alone, battle-hardened, caustic, drugged, exceptional, fighter, gun-toting, healthy, independent, jaded, knowing, lesbian, marine, nineteen, odor-sensitive, persistent, queer, ready, soldier, Terran, unmodified, valuable, wounded, eXperiment, young, zoned.
Hmm. that was fun.. Might need to try that on another character. Anyone else wanna give it a go w/ their characters?
